When we say something is temporary, it means it won’t last forever, like a rainbow in the sky. You see, after the rain, a rainbow appears, but it doesn’t stay there all day. It shines bright and colorful, but soon it fades away when the sun comes out. It’s there for a little while, just like how some things in life are not meant to stay forever.

Think about a sandcastle you build at the beach. You spend time making it with towers and walls, but when the tide comes in, the waves wash it away. The sandcastle was fun, but it was only there for a short time because the waves are stronger and always come back.

Remember when you get a sticker from your teacher? You put it on your shirt and show it off, but after a few washes, it might not stick anymore. That sticker was special for a day or two, but it wasn’t meant to be there forever.

Or a party with balloons and cake. The party is exciting and full of fun, but once everyone goes home, the balloons might pop, and the cake gets eaten. The celebration was just for a moment, a temporary joy.

So, temporary things are like little surprises or gifts that make us happy for a short time. They remind us to enjoy them while they last because they will change or go away soon.
