rubbish
Rubbish is like the leftover crusts from a sandwich. After you eat the yummy part, the crusts are what you don’t want to eat anymore. Rubbish is all the things we don’t need or want anymore, like when you finish your juice box and it’s empty. We throw it away because it doesn’t have any more juice for us to drink.
Think of rubbish as the toys you don’t play with anymore. Maybe they’re broken, or you’ve outgrown them. They sit in a box, not being used, just like rubbish sitting in a bin. Rubbish is stuff we don’t have a use for anymore, like a pencil that’s too short to hold.
Imagine a storybook. Once you read it a hundred times and know all the words by heart, it might feel like rubbish because you don’t need it to tell the story anymore. But sometimes, rubbish can be turned into something new, like when you use old paper to make a fun craft. So, rubbish can sometimes have a new life if we use our imagination!
