rise
Rise is like when you bounce a ball and it goes up into the air. The ball starts from the ground and moves higher and higher. That’s what rise means—going up from a lower place to a higher place. Think of the sun in the morning. It starts low in the sky and slowly climbs up until it’s high above us. That’s the sun rising.
Another way to think about rise is like a balloon. When you fill a balloon with air, it gets bigger and floats up into the sky. It starts small and low, and then it rises higher and higher as it fills with air. Rise is about moving up and getting bigger or higher.
Imagine a ladder. When you climb the ladder, you start on the ground and step up, one step at a time, until you reach the top. Each step you take is like rising. You’re going from a lower step to a higher one, moving upwards each time. Rise is all about that movement from down low to up high.
