lot
A ‘lot’ is like when you have a big pile of toys. Imagine you have so many toys that you can’t count them all easily. That’s a lot of toys! It’s more than just a few; it’s a big number of things all together.
Think of ‘lot’ like a big bowl of candies. If you have only a few candies, you can count them on your fingers. But if you have a whole bowl full of candies, that’s a lot! It means you have plenty, maybe even more than you need.
‘Lot’ can also be like a flock of birds. When you see just one or two birds, that’s not a lot. But when the sky is full of birds flying together, that’s a lot! It’s a way to say there are many things in one place.
Another way to think of ‘lot’ is like a field of flowers. A few flowers are nice, but when you see a whole field covered in colorful flowers, that’s a lot! It means there are so many that it looks really full and beautiful.
