heal
When you get a boo-boo on your knee, it’s like your body is a team of little builders. These builders work really hard to fix the boo-boo. First, they clean up the area, just like you clean your room. Then, they start building new skin, like putting pieces of a puzzle together. After some time, the boo-boo gets covered, and you feel better. This is called healing.
Think of your body like a garden. When a flower gets hurt, the garden works to help it grow back. It sends water and sunshine to the flower to make it strong again. Your body does something similar. It sends special things called cells to help the hurt part of your body get better.
Imagine your body is like a superhero. When you get a scratch, your superhero body puts on a cape and goes to work. It fights off any bad stuff and makes sure everything is okay. This superhero power is what helps you heal and feel good again.
