When you fill something, it means you are putting things inside until there’s no more room. Think of a bucket. If you pour water into it, the water fills the bucket, and when it reaches the top, it’s full. You can’t put more water in without it spilling over.

Consider a balloon. When you blow air into it, the air fills the balloon, making it bigger and bigger. If you keep blowing, the balloon becomes full and might even pop!

Imagine your tummy after eating a big meal. When you eat lots of food, your tummy fills up, and you feel full and satisfied. You can’t eat more because there’s no more room in your tummy.

Think of a coloring book. When you use crayons to color all the white spaces, you are filling the page with colors. Once every part is colored, the page is full of bright, cheerful colors.

Picture a jar of cookies. If you keep adding cookies, the jar fills up. Once it’s full, you have to stop adding cookies because there’s no space left.
