efflux
Efflux is like when you pour water out of a cup. The water flowing out is the efflux. Imagine a balloon filled with air. When you let go of the balloon, the air rushes out. That air rushing out is also an efflux. It’s the way things move out from a place.
Think of efflux like a busy playground slide. Kids climb up and then slide down, moving out of the slide. The kids sliding down and leaving the slide is similar to efflux. It’s the movement of something from inside to outside.
Efflux can happen in many places. In plants, efflux is like when a flower releases a sweet smell into the air. The smell moving out is efflux. In your body, efflux is like when you exhale. The air leaving your lungs is efflux. It’s all about things going from inside to outside.
