drug
A drug is like a special potion that can help your body feel better when it’s not feeling well. Imagine when you have a boo-boo or a tummy ache, a drug is a bit like magic juice that doctors give you to help make the pain go away or to help your body fight off germs. These potions are made very carefully by scientists and doctors to make sure they work just right.
Think of a drug as a superhero for your body. When your body is feeling tired or sick, the superhero drug swoops in to fight the bad guys, which are the germs or sickness, and helps your body get strong again. But just like superheroes need to rest and recharge, we can’t use drugs all the time. We only use them when our doctor says we need to.
Sometimes, drugs are like a band-aid for the inside of your body. Just like a band-aid helps protect a cut on your skin, a drug helps protect and heal parts inside your body. But remember, not all drugs are the same. Some are for your head, some for your tummy, and others for different parts of your body.
