Communication is like playing a game of catch with words. When you throw a ball to your friend, you want them to catch it, right? The same goes for talking. You say words to someone, and they catch them with their ears and mind. If you throw the ball too hard or too soft, your friend might not catch it. So, you have to throw it just right. The same with words, you have to say them clearly so others can understand.
Think of communication as painting a picture in someone else’s mind. When you talk or show something, you are using words and actions like paintbrushes. The better you paint, the clearer the picture becomes in their head. If you use the wrong colors or shapes, they might see something different than you want.
Communication can also be like a bridge. Imagine a big river between you and your friend. You build a bridge with words and actions so you can share your thoughts and feelings. If the bridge is strong, you can easily cross and understand each other. But if it’s weak, you might get stuck on your side, unable to share what you mean.
